The following is a listing of the different rankings in the FR2DB Forums, in order of importance. The system was originated by the user Isenki, Maxime has added several addition ranks over time.
Newbie
- A user who has fewer than 20 posts. The vast majority of users on the forums are Newbies.
Member
- A user who has 20 posts or more. This promotion is automatic, no intervention from Maxime is required.
Senior Member
- A user who has 100 posts or more. This promotion is automatic, no intervention from Maxime is required.
FR2DB Forums God:
- A user who has 1000 posts or more. This promotion is automatic, no intervention from Maxime is required. FR2DB Forums Gods have no special privileges other than the title itself.
VIP:(Very Important Person, as pertaining to FR2DB forums)
- get special privileges, can post in VIP forums
- obtain their rank from Maxime by spam hunting1 or making really good tracks.
- are a very highly prized position in the forums, and enjoy the use of their private forum.
- get a direct link from the DB to their tracks, making their tracks the most visited on the forums.

Moderator
Mods obtain their rank from Maxime. This has been achieved by a) spam reporting b) request. They are the only users able to change other users' posts and threads, which includes deleting posts and locking topics. Moderators can NOT post new topics in the VIP forum, unless they are both.
Currently, there are 4 moderators. It is unlikely there will be many more in the future.

Free Rider 2 God:
FR2 Gods enjoy the highest rank in the forums. The FR2 God rank is a mark of exceptional track making. Currently, the only FR2 god (note, NOT the same as a FR2DB Forums God) is Moose_Man. Moose_Man won the FR2 God position by winning the Number 1 track contest2.
Administrator:
In the FR2DB forums there is only one administrator: Maxime, the creator of both the Data base and its forums. The administrator is the only person with the ability to modify users' ranks, ban users and IPs, and make new forums.
